I'm looking very forward to being joined by Assemblyman-Elect Billy Jones in the majority conference of the New York State Assembly for the next session. Billy will represent Clinton and Franklin counties and the towns of Brasher, Lawrence, Hopkinton and Piercefield in St. Lawrence County. I know working together we will be able to do good things for the North Country. I have also enjoyed working with his predecessor, Assemblywoman Janet Duprey. Assemblywoman Duprey, who has served in the state Assembly since 2006 after a long tenure as a Clinton County legislator and then Clinton County treasurer, opted not to seek re-election. Congratulations Assemblywoman Duprey on your well-earned retirement and thank you for your service to the North Country.
