Celine G. Philbert Cultural Center and Museum tremendous asset in effort to revitalize downtown Massena
The Celine G. Philbert Cultural Center and Museum at 79 Main St. in downtown Massena is a tremendous demonstration of the good that can be accomplished through public-private partnerships. Congratulations to all of those that worked to turn a vacant downtown building into a community jewel. Randy Peets, who purchased and then donate the building to the town of Massena to house its museum, has made a difference in his community. The cultural center and museum is also reflection of what Randy and the love of his life, the late Ms. Philbert, found important. It is a tremendous tribute to Ms. Philbert.
