Assemblywoman Addie Jenne Russell was on hand for the Korean War Veterans luncheon Friday sponsored by the American Legion family of Cape Vincent and Lyme.
The event served as the start of a weekend that included a number of the veterans taking an honor flight trip to Washington, D.C., on Saturday that featured tours of the veterans memorials. Assemblywoman Russell thanked the veterans for their service and praised the honor flight program.
