Assemblywoman Russell speaks at dedication of Dr. David G. Gregor building at JCC

Assemblywoman Addie J. Russell, D-Theresa, praised Jefferson Community College officials for the steps they took to repurpose space at the former Dewey Library to better meet the college's current programming needs.

The building will continue to house the Liberal Arts Division and Institutional Technology staff and faculty, but the second level of the structure will now be home to JCC's paramedic and nursing departments with state-of-the-art classrooms and labs.

The building has been named for late Watertown general surgeon Dr. David G. Gregor. His leadership gifts to the Jefferson Community College Foundation will benefit students for years, according to college officials.
